What kind of green waste does be’ah collect? Does it include all agricultural waste?
Waste generated from houses only this does not include waste generated from farms or green waste resulting from commercial activities and the afforestation of streets and public places or the amounts that are in large quantities.
Is this waste used? And where does it go?
At the present time, in some sites, they are cut down and processed in order to reduce their size and retrieve value from them, however in some cases where they cannot be used, they are disposed directly in engineered landfills
How construction & demolition waste is handled?
If the waste resulted from simple maintenance work in the house and its quantity is small, be'ah can provide transport services. You can simply contact Maana be’ah Call Center toll free number 1881 during all days of the week from 8 am to 10 pm to get it transported.
If it is a result of extensive construction or demolition work such as building a house and other types of building, the responsibility for transporting that waste lies within the contractor’s responsibility or the customer’s closest sites that have been designated to receive this type of waste by be'ah or the other official authorities.
What are the procedures for transporting this type of waste?
Calling be’ah toll-free number 1881 during all days of the week from 8 am to 10 pm.
The necessary data will be taken and a reporting number will be sent via text message to track the complaint.
The customer will be contacted through the operating company in the governorate to determine when to take waste after assessing the request.
The customer takes waste outside of the house to be transported by the operating company according to the time and location agreed upon.
Waste will be collected and transported from the house by the operating company to be’ah’s designated sites.
Dead animals?
Includes all dead animals whose transportation service is requested, with the exception of those resulting from commercial activities or lying on the streets and public places. Note that the company transports dead animals that are placed next to its bins, according to the waste collection program for that region.
